A Parimatch payment dispute should begin with a more useful question than “How do I get my money back?”
Ask:
Where is the money now, and which party can actually do something about it?
That distinction matters.
If your bank never completed the debit, repeatedly messaging the platform may achieve nothing. If a deposit left your bank but did not reach your gaming balance, you may need reference numbers from both sides. If Parimatch has placed a withdrawal on hold for verification, your bank normally cannot release money that has never been sent to it. If the platform shows a withdrawal as completed but your bank has no incoming credit, the missing link may be a payment processor.
A good dispute therefore works backwards from evidence.
You identify the transaction, establish its latest confirmed status, determine which party appears to control the next step, and then escalate only when that party misses a stated deadline or fails to answer a specific question.
This guide covers that complete workflow for Indian users dealing with:
- a deposit debited but not credited;
- a pending or missing withdrawal;
- duplicate debits;
- a payment-method mismatch;
- an account restriction connected with payments;
- a balance or settlement disagreement;
- a transaction that a bank or UPI app shows as successful while the platform does not;
- or a withdrawal shown as paid that never arrived.
It is intentionally different from a simple refund guide. A refund request normally concerns reversing one particular transaction. A payment dispute may involve the bank, payment intermediary, platform processor and operator at different stages.
If your problem concerns only reversing one failed transaction, see our Parimatch refund request guide. For preparing records before or during a dispute, our Parimatch transaction history guide can also be useful.
Quick Answer: What Should You Do First?
If you have an active Parimatch payment dispute in India:
- Stop making additional deposits while the issue is unresolved.
- Save the transaction ID, date, exact time, amount and payment method.
- Download or save proof from your bank, UPI app, wallet or card statement.
- Capture the status displayed inside your Parimatch account.
- Work out whether the money never left your bank, is between the bank and platform, is being held by the platform, or was supposedly paid out but never reached you.
- Contact the party that controls the next step and request a traceable reference or written status.
- Keep all statements to your bank accurate. Never describe a transaction you authorised as “unauthorised” simply because you later regretted it or lost money gambling.
- Escalate to your bank’s grievance process when appropriate.
- Consider the RBI Ombudsman framework only for an unresolved service complaint involving an RBI-regulated entity—not as a way to force an offshore gaming operator to settle a dispute. RBI describes its Integrated Ombudsman Scheme as a redress mechanism for deficiencies in service by covered regulated entities.
- If genuine cyber fraud, account takeover or impersonation is involved, use India’s cybercrime reporting system rather than trying to disguise the matter as an ordinary payment complaint.
There is no guaranteed recovery route.
A well-organised dispute improves the quality of your case. It does not guarantee that a platform, bank, processor, ombudsman or other body will decide in your favour.
Important 2026 Legal Context for Indian Users
The legal context cannot be treated as a footnote in 2026.
India now has the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, and MeitY’s current official materials list the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules, 2026, an enforcement notification dated 22 April 2026, and the constitution of the Online Gaming Authority of India (OGAI). MeitY describes OGAI as an attached office created under the 2025 Act.
Government material concerning implementation of the 2026 framework describes prohibited online money games separately from permitted social gaming and e-sports.
For a payment-dispute article, the practical lesson is simple:
Do not interpret a functioning website, payment option, foreign licence, app, mirror domain or successful transaction as proof that participating in real-money online gaming is permitted in India.
This article does not advise you to register, deposit, place a bet, circumvent a restriction or continue using an offshore gaming service.
It addresses a different problem: what an existing user can do when money is already involved in a disputed transaction.
Nothing below is individual legal, financial or tax advice. For a significant amount, complicated source-of-funds question, legal notice, account seizure, taxation issue or suspected offence, speak with an appropriately qualified Indian professional.
Payment Dispute vs Refund Request: Know the Difference
People often use “refund,” “chargeback,” “payment dispute” and “missing withdrawal” as though they mean the same thing.
They do not.
A refund request usually asks for one transaction to be reversed or returned. Examples include:
- one duplicated payment;
- a failed transaction that nevertheless produced a debit;
- a merchant-confirmed failed payment awaiting reversal.
A Parimatch payment dispute is broader.
It can involve:
- money leaving a bank but never entering the gaming account;
- a withdrawal remaining pending;
- a payout marked completed but not reaching the recipient;
- conflicting transaction statuses;
- an account being restricted during verification;
- use of a payment method registered to another person;
- a payment being held while KYC or source-of-funds checks are performed;
- a balance adjustment linked to a transaction;
- or disagreement over whether the operator, processor or bank completed its part of the payment.
That is why the first goal is not demanding a refund.
It is classifying what happened.
The Most Useful Framework: Locate the Money
Most payment disputes become easier to understand when you place them into one of four positions.
Position A: The Money Never Actually Left Your Bank
Your payment may appear to have failed before settlement.
Possible signs include:
- no debit on your final bank statement;
- a temporary card authorisation that disappears later;
- a failed UPI message with no completed debit;
- a payment attempt visible on the platform but not on the bank side.
In this situation, there may be nothing for Parimatch to “refund” because the transaction never completed.
Do not rely solely on push notifications or an app’s temporary screen.
Check the actual account transaction history.
Ask your bank or payment provider whether the payment was:
- declined;
- authorised but not captured;
- reversed;
- pending;
- or settled.
If the final bank status confirms that no money moved, close the dispute as a failed payment attempt rather than trying to recover funds that were never transferred.
Position B: Your Bank Debited You but the Platform Did Not Credit You
This is the classic Parimatch deposit not credited problem.
Your bank or UPI app shows success. Your gaming balance does not.
The important evidence is the bridge between those two systems.
Collect:
- amount;
- exact date and timestamp;
- UPI transaction ID or UTR where applicable;
- bank reference;
- statement entry;
- merchant descriptor;
- platform transaction history;
- screenshots showing the missing credit;
- support ticket number.
Then ask the platform one precise question:
“Can you confirm whether transaction [reference] for ₹[amount] on [date/time] was received by your payment processor or credited internally?”
Ask your bank:
“Can you confirm the terminal status of this transaction and provide the trace/reference information available to me?”
Do not repeatedly send “money missing” messages.
Your objective is to make both ends describe the same transaction in terms that can be compared.
Position C: The Platform Has the Funds but the Payment Is Being Held
This usually appears in withdrawal or account-review disputes.
Examples:
- withdrawal shows “processing”;
- withdrawal has been cancelled;
- account is restricted pending KYC;
- funds are frozen during a compliance review;
- payment method ownership must be verified;
- operator cites a terms-and-conditions issue.
Here, your bank cannot normally trace a payout that has not been sent.
Your dispute is primarily with the platform.
Ask:
- What is the exact transaction status?
- Has a payout instruction actually been generated?
- Is verification blocking the payment?
- Which document is outstanding?
- Which term or account rule is being applied?
- Is there a stated review period?
- What is the formal complaint reference?
- What happens if the first-line support team cannot resolve it?
Request specific answers in writing.
“Your withdrawal is being reviewed” is a status.
It is not an explanation.
Position D: The Platform Says It Paid, but Your Money Never Arrived
This is almost the reverse of Position B.
The platform says “completed,” while your bank shows no matching credit.
Your most important request is the outbound payment reference.
Ask the operator:
- On what exact date and time was the payment released?
- Through which payout method?
- What was the amount sent?
- What outbound reference, UTR, processor reference or other trace identifier was created?
- Was the payment returned after being issued?
Then give the available reference to your bank and ask whether it can identify the incoming transfer.
A screenshot saying “completed” is useful, but a traceable reference is usually more useful.
Add a Fifth Category: Fraud or Account Takeover
Some disputes are not ordinary merchant disagreements at all.
Treat the case differently if:
- somebody accessed your account without permission;
- you paid a fake support agent;
- you were sent to a phishing website;
- someone persuaded you to reveal an OTP;
- money went to an impersonator rather than the intended service;
- a SIM-swap or email takeover was involved;
- an unknown transaction genuinely occurred without your authorisation.
That can become a cyber-fraud issue.
India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal identifies 1930 for reporting online financial fraud, and Ministry of Home Affairs resources continue to identify 1930 as the financial-fraud helpline.
Do not use the fraud route merely because you are unhappy with a transaction you knowingly authorised.
A payment you made yourself does not become unauthorised simply because:
- the bet lost;
- you changed your mind;
- you dislike the operator;
- a bonus did not work as expected;
- or you want the bank to recover gambling losses.
Keep the payment facts accurate.
Evidence Checklist for a Parimatch Payment Dispute
Evidence should tell a stranger what happened without requiring twenty messages of explanation.
1. Transaction Reference
Save every available identifier:
- UPI transaction ID;
- UTR;
- bank reference number;
- card reference;
- wallet transaction number;
- cryptocurrency transaction hash;
- platform payment ID;
- withdrawal request ID.
Do not crop these numbers out of screenshots.
2. Exact Date and Time
Record timestamps from both sides.
A difference of several minutes can matter when a processor is trying to locate one transaction among many of the same amount.
Save:
- bank timestamp;
- platform timestamp;
- UPI/wallet timestamp;
- email confirmation time;
- support-contact time.
3. Amount and Currency
Write the amount exactly.
For example:
₹5,000
is better than:
about five thousand
If a fee was separately charged, record it separately.
4. Payment Method
Identify the actual rail used:
- UPI;
- IMPS;
- net banking;
- card;
- e-wallet;
- cryptocurrency;
- other processor.
Do not assume the name displayed inside the gaming cashier is identical to the merchant descriptor appearing at your bank.
5. Bank-Side Status
Save the exact language:
- successful;
- pending;
- reversed;
- failed;
- declined;
- refunded;
- completed.
Do not rewrite “pending” as “completed” in your complaint.
6. Platform-Side Status
Capture the relevant transaction screen.
If the status changes, keep evidence of the change.
For example:
11 August, 09:20 — Processing
11 August, 16:45 — Cancelled
That sequence can be more useful than a screenshot containing only the final status.
7. Merchant Descriptor
Record exactly what appears on your bank/card statement.
The descriptor may not resemble the brand name you expected.
Do not automatically treat an unfamiliar descriptor as proof of fraud. Instead, ask your bank what identifying information it can provide and ask platform support whether the amount/date/reference corresponds to its processor records.
8. Support Conversations
Save:
- ticket numbers;
- email threads;
- chat transcripts;
- dates;
- promises;
- stated deadlines;
- requested documents.
If support says “allow five working days,” preserve the message.
If nothing happens after the stated period, your next complaint becomes:
“Ticket 12345 was given a five-working-day resolution period on 4 August. That period has passed. Please confirm the current status or escalate the case.”
That is stronger than sending “Hello???” every morning.
9. KYC Requests
If payment is blocked by verification, record:
- what was requested;
- when it was requested;
- when you submitted it;
- what confirmation you received;
- whether additional documents were later requested.
Never post identity documents publicly.
10. Account Balance
For deposit disputes, save your balance before and after the transaction if possible.
For withdrawal disputes, save:
- balance before withdrawal;
- withdrawal amount;
- remaining balance;
- subsequent reversal or cancellation.
Build a Simple Dispute File
Complicated disputes become harder when evidence is scattered between WhatsApp screenshots, downloads and email threads.
Create one folder.
For example:
2026-08-11_parimatch_payment_dispute
Inside it:
01_timeline.txt02_bank_statement.pdf03_payment_reference.png04_platform_transaction.png05_support_chat.pdf06_support_email.pdf07_kyc_confirmation.png08_error_screen.png
Then write a short timeline.
Example:
11 August 2026, 09:14 — ₹5,000 UPI payment initiated.
11 August 2026, 09:15 — Bank/UPI app displayed successful debit.
11 August 2026, 09:25 — No credit appeared in platform balance.
11 August 2026, 10:02 — Support contacted; ticket PM-XXXX opened.
11 August 2026, 10:18 — Support requested payment reference and screenshot.
Current request — confirmation of receipt/non-receipt and payment status.
Short timelines reduce confusion.
They also make it easier to keep your story consistent when communicating with different parties.
What to Ask Parimatch Support
Use the support channel shown on the website/account you actually used and verify that you are on the correct domain before sharing documents.
The Parimatch-branded support material currently indexed online describes email/live-chat assistance for user complaints and payment issues, while its payment material shows that different deposit and withdrawal methods may involve different processing flows.
Do not interpret marketing language about speed as a guaranteed settlement deadline.
For a dispute, ask questions support can answer with records:
- Can you see this exact transaction?
- What status does your system show?
- What is your internal transaction/reference number?
- Which payment processor handled it?
- If it failed, what failure reason is recorded?
- If it is pending, what event is it waiting for?
- If verification is blocking it, what exact requirement remains incomplete?
- If the withdrawal was sent, what outbound reference can my bank trace?
- If the transaction was reversed, when was the reversal initiated?
- What is my complaint ticket number?
- What response period applies?
- If first-line support cannot resolve it, what is the next internal escalation channel?
Ask one clean set of questions.
Avoid sending twenty separate chats.
Questions to Ask Your Bank or Payment Provider
Your bank sees a different part of the transaction than the gaming platform.
Useful questions include:
- Is this transaction pending, settled, returned or reversed?
- What reference or trace number is available?
- Can you confirm the merchant descriptor?
- Is there an applicable payment-dispute procedure?
- What evidence do you require?
- Is there a deadline for raising the dispute?
- Can the transaction be traced to its terminal status?
- For an expected incoming payment, can you search the sender’s reference?
- Has a reversal already been received but not posted?
- Which grievance channel should I use if the first response does not resolve the issue?
The bank may not be able to tell you everything about an intermediary merchant or processor.
That is normal.
You are trying to establish what the bank can verify, not persuade a branch employee to decide the entire dispute.
Be Completely Truthful With Your Bank
This is one of the most important sections of the entire page.
Suppose you knowingly authorised a ₹5,000 transaction.
Your bank record shows you approved it.
You later have a dispute with the platform.
Do not tell the bank:
“I never made this payment.”
Do not select an “unauthorised transaction” category merely because it appears stronger.
Instead describe the actual problem.
For example:
“I authorised this ₹5,000 payment. My account was debited, but the corresponding merchant/service balance was not credited. I am trying to establish whether the transfer settled, reversed or remains unresolved. Please provide the available transaction status and trace information.”
That statement does not embellish anything.
It also distinguishes a payment failure from a gambling loss.
Likewise, if you deposited money, received the balance and subsequently lost it through bets, that is not the same as a deposit failing to reach the service.
Banks, processors and operators can compare transaction records.
Contradictions weaken complaints.
Parimatch Deposit Debited but Not Credited
For a Parimatch deposit not credited dispute, begin with the bank evidence.
Collect:
- successful debit;
- transaction reference;
- timestamp;
- amount;
- platform balance screenshot;
- platform transaction history;
- support ticket.
Then request platform-side confirmation.
There are several possible outcomes.
Outcome 1: Platform Confirms Receipt
If the processor/operator confirms receipt but your balance remains unchanged, the issue appears to be internal crediting or reconciliation.
Ask for:
- internal payment ID;
- manual reconciliation;
- corrected balance;
- written explanation if the credit is rejected.
Outcome 2: Platform Confirms Non-Receipt
Take that written confirmation to your bank/payment provider along with the transaction reference.
Ask whether the transaction:
- settled to the beneficiary;
- was returned;
- remains pending;
- or can be disputed through the applicable payment process.
Outcome 3: Both Sides Say “Successful”
This is where references matter.
Ask the platform which transaction it believes corresponds to your amount and timestamp.
Ask the bank what trace data identifies the receiving endpoint.
Do not assume two green “successful” labels prove the same thing.
Outcome 4: Nobody Can Locate It
Escalate in writing with:
- both references;
- both responses;
- full timeline.
Avoid creating repeated new tickets that fragment the evidence.
Parimatch Withdrawal Pending or Not Received
A Parimatch withdrawal pending dispute requires different evidence.
Save:
- withdrawal request ID;
- date;
- amount;
- method;
- original status;
- every later status change;
- KYC status;
- support messages.
Start by asking whether a payout has actually been released.
If not, determine why.
Common dispute categories can include:
- KYC incomplete;
- payment-method verification;
- internal compliance review;
- payout method not available;
- account restriction;
- additional documentation request;
- processing delay.
If support says “processing,” ask:
“Has the payment instruction already been sent to the payment provider, or is it still pending internally?”
That separates Position C from Position D.
If it is still internal, your bank normally has nothing to trace.
If the operator says it was sent, request the outbound reference.
The Parimatch-branded payment page currently lists different withdrawal routes and notes that withdrawal processing depends on method. Treat any time estimate shown there as information rather than a guaranteed promise.
Duplicate Debit Dispute
If you believe the same deposit was charged twice, compare the two transactions carefully.
Save:
- both amounts;
- both timestamps;
- both references;
- platform credit history;
- any timeout/retry screen.
Ask:
- Were both transactions captured?
- Did both reach the platform?
- Was one only temporarily authorised?
- Did the platform credit both?
- Has one already been reversed?
- Are the two debits associated with separate transaction IDs?
Do not request two refunds merely because two similar notifications appeared.
Verify two completed debits first.
Payment-Method Ownership and KYC Problems
Payment disputes become more complicated when:
- the bank account name differs from the gaming account name;
- someone else’s card was used;
- another person’s UPI account funded the transaction;
- the withdrawal destination differs from the deposit method;
- identity verification is incomplete.
The operator’s indexed terms/payment material states that payment-method ownership or verification may be requested in connection with transfers.
If somebody else’s payment method was used, do not hide that fact.
Ask support what rule applies and what evidence is required.
Do not submit altered documents.
Do not edit names on screenshots.
Do not ask the account holder to make a false bank complaint.
What Can Go Wrong During a Payment Dispute?
Repeated Generic Replies
You ask:
“Was transaction ABC received?”
Support responds:
“Please wait while our team checks your account.”
If this repeats, reply once:
“Thank you. My question is whether transaction ABC is recorded as received, rejected or pending. Please confirm one of those statuses or escalate the ticket to the team that can check the payment record.”
Specificity makes template replies harder to recycle.
Endless New Document Requests
If documents are requested one at a time, ask:
“Please provide the complete list of documents currently required to finish this review.”
Save the response.
No Deadline
If you receive “under review” repeatedly, ask whether the operator has:
- a stated review period;
- a formal complaint procedure;
- an escalation contact.
Do not invent your own deadline and then describe the company as being in breach of it.
Distinguish between their stated deadline and your preferred deadline.
New Deposits During the Dispute
Do not keep funding an account while arguing that its payment system is unreliable.
Apart from financial risk, new transactions make the record harder to follow.
Fake Recovery Agents
Public complaints can attract impersonators.
Nobody resolving a legitimate payment complaint needs:
- your password;
- OTP;
- wallet seed phrase;
- remote-control access to your phone;
- an advance “recovery fee” sent to a personal account.
Treat such requests as potential fraud.
Escalation Path for an Indian User
There is no single authority that resolves every Parimatch payment dispute.
Your escalation route depends on where the failure appears to be.
Step 1: Platform Support
Start with the platform for:
- missing deposits;
- pending withdrawals;
- account payment restrictions;
- internal balance conflicts;
- processor references.
Obtain a ticket number.
Step 2: Written Complaint or Internal Escalation
If first-line support cannot resolve the problem, request the formal escalation route available under the terms/support process applicable to the account you used.
Include:
- account identifier;
- transaction reference;
- amount;
- date;
- concise timeline;
- evidence;
- previous ticket number;
- exact outcome you are requesting.
Avoid insults or accusations that your evidence cannot support.
Step 3: Bank or Payment Provider
For a transaction that appears stuck between endpoints, use the grievance/dispute mechanism of the relevant bank or payment provider.
Do this promptly because payment dispute rights and deadlines can differ by payment type and provider.
Ask for the applicable deadline rather than relying on a generic internet chargeback timetable.
Step 4: RBI Integrated Ombudsman—Where Applicable
The Reserve Bank – Integrated Ombudsman Scheme, 2021 covers complaints concerning deficiency in service by regulated entities within its scope. RBI states that customers may use the mechanism where a covered regulated entity has not resolved a complaint satisfactorily or has not replied within 30 days.
Its role needs to be understood correctly.
If your complaint is:
“My bank will not properly handle or respond to my payment complaint.”
the RBI framework may potentially be relevant if the bank/entity and complaint fall within its scope and procedural conditions are met.
If your complaint is:
“Make Parimatch release my gaming balance.”
that is a different issue.
Do not portray the RBI Ombudsman as a guaranteed escalation mechanism against the operator itself.
Step 5: Cybercrime Reporting for Genuine Fraud
If the issue involves actual unauthorised access, phishing, impersonation or financial cyber fraud, India’s National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal and the 1930 financial-fraud helpline are the appropriate official resources to consider.
Act quickly in genuine fraud cases.
Do not misuse this route for an ordinary terms disagreement or gambling loss.
Step 6: Public Complaint Platforms
The supplied source material identifies the Parimatch section of ConsumerComplaints.in as one public forum some users consult. It should be treated as a public complaint/visibility platform, not an official adjudicator or guaranteed recovery channel.
If posting publicly:
- remove your phone number;
- remove email addresses;
- remove account numbers;
- obscure identification documents;
- do not publish full bank statements;
- do not publish wallet recovery phrases or private keys;
- avoid unsupported accusations;
- ignore unsolicited “recovery” messages.
Public visibility and legal authority are not the same thing.
Step 7: Professional Advice
For a substantial sum or a dispute involving complicated taxation, foreign payments, source-of-funds questions, alleged fraud, frozen balances or legal notices, professional advice may be worth more than repeatedly opening support tickets.
How to Check the Case Yourself
Before escalating, run this five-minute self-check.
Bank
Can you prove the debit or missing credit with the actual account record?
Reference
Do you have an identifier another party can search?
Platform
Can you prove the platform’s current status?
Timeline
Can you explain the entire dispute in six lines or fewer?
Requested Resolution
Do you know what you are asking for?
Examples:
- confirm whether payment was received;
- trace the transaction;
- provide outbound payout reference;
- reverse duplicate debit;
- complete account reconciliation;
- explain required KYC;
- escalate a formal complaint.
“Give me my money” is understandable emotionally.
It is not always operationally specific enough.
Sample Parimatch Payment Dispute Message
Hello Support,
I am raising a payment dispute concerning the transaction below.
Account ID: [insert]
Date and time: [insert]
Amount: ₹[insert]
Payment method: [insert]
Transaction/reference ID: [insert]
Issue: [deposit debited but not credited / withdrawal not received / duplicate debit / payment verification conflict]My bank/payment record currently shows: [exact status].
My account/payment history currently shows: [exact platform status].
I have attached the relevant payment proof and screenshots.
Please confirm:
- whether this transaction is visible in your system;
- its current status;
- the internal or processor reference available;
- whether any action or document is required from me; and
- the appropriate escalation route if the transaction cannot be resolved by first-line support.
Please also provide a complaint/ticket reference for this request.
Thank you.
Sample Bank Message for a Deposit That Was Not Credited
I authorised this transaction myself. I am not reporting it as an unauthorised transaction.
On [date/time], ₹[amount] was debited from my account under reference [reference]. The intended service has not credited the corresponding transaction and I am trying to determine whether the payment settled, was returned or remains unresolved.
Please confirm the terminal status and provide any available trace/reference information. Please also advise which dispute or grievance procedure applies if the recipient did not receive the payment.
This wording keeps the facts clear.
Modify it to match what genuinely happened.
Sensitive Information You Should Never Send Casually
Even legitimate-looking support messages can be copied or impersonated.
Never disclose:
- OTP;
- password;
- card PIN;
- UPI PIN;
- wallet seed phrase;
- private cryptocurrency key;
- unrestricted remote-control access to your phone.
When sending bank statements or identity documents through an official channel, provide only what is genuinely required.
Before posting anything publicly, redact aggressively.
APK, Device and Account-Security Warning
A payment dispute can create urgency.
Urgency makes people vulnerable to fake support pages and “special recovery apps.”
Do not respond to a payment problem by installing an APK from an unknown mirror, Telegram channel or file-sharing site.
Be suspicious when an app or supposed support tool requests unrelated access such as:
- accessibility control;
- device administrator privileges;
- contacts;
- SMS access;
- screen sharing;
- remote-control permissions.
If you need to access an existing account during a dispute, verify the domain or app source yourself.
Do not trust a link simply because somebody claiming to be support sent it.
Responsible Gambling Checkpoint: What Does This Dispute Tell You?
A payment dispute is a financial event.
Sometimes it is also a warning.
Ask yourself:
- Is the disputed amount needed for normal household expenses?
- Have I deposited again while the first payment is unresolved?
- Am I trying to recover a gambling loss by calling it a payment error?
- Am I chasing the disputed amount with larger bets?
- Have I borrowed money because of gambling?
- Am I repeatedly refreshing the account or losing sleep over the balance?
- Am I hiding the scale of the activity from people affected by my finances?
If the answer to any of these concerns you, stop adding money.
Resolving the transaction and continuing to gamble are two separate decisions.
Winning a dispute does not make further gambling safer.
Use available spending limits, time limits or self-exclusion tools where applicable, and consider speaking with an appropriate professional if gambling is becoming difficult to control.
Mistakes That Commonly Weaken a Dispute
Avoid:
- deleting transaction records;
- cropping out reference numbers;
- opening many unrelated support tickets;
- changing your version of events;
- claiming an authorised transaction was unauthorised;
- confusing a gambling loss with a failed payment;
- giving the bank an invented merchant story;
- expecting “processing” to mean guaranteed payment by a particular hour;
- sending unredacted identity documents to public forums;
- using random Telegram accounts as support;
- paying a “recovery agent” in advance;
- giving anybody your OTP;
- making another deposit merely to test whether payments now work;
- assuming a foreign licence guarantees recovery;
- assuming a payment method appearing on a website must currently be available to your account;
- assuming an RBI complaint can compel an offshore operator to pay;
- assuming a public complaint website is an official court or regulator.

FAQ
Is a Parimatch payment dispute the same as asking for a refund?
No. A refund normally concerns returning or reversing a particular payment. A payment dispute can also involve missing deposits, delayed withdrawals, processor problems, account verification, balance adjustments or disagreement about whether a transaction was completed.
My Parimatch deposit was debited but not credited. What should I do?
Save the bank/UPI debit, transaction reference, timestamp and platform account history. Ask the platform whether it received the transaction and ask the bank to confirm the transaction’s terminal status. The aim is to match both sides using reference numbers.
Can my bank recover a Parimatch payment?
Possibly in some payment-failure scenarios, but there is no universal right or guaranteed result. The available dispute procedure depends on the payment method, transaction facts, provider rules and applicable deadlines. Ask your bank what procedure applies to the actual transaction.
Should I tell my bank the payment was unauthorised?
Only if it genuinely was unauthorised.
If you made the transaction yourself, say so. Describe the real payment failure instead.
Do not turn a merchant dispute or gambling loss into a false unauthorised-payment claim.
Can I dispute money I lost betting?
A gambling loss and a failed payment are different things.
If the money was properly credited and subsequently lost through bets you authorised, do not describe the original deposit as a missing or unauthorised transaction.
What if Parimatch says my withdrawal is “processing”?
Ask whether the payout has been released to a payment processor or remains inside the platform’s internal queue. If it was released, request the outbound reference. If it remains internal, ask what is blocking it and whether any documents are required.
How long does a Parimatch withdrawal dispute take?
There is no reliable universal dispute timeframe.
The platform’s currently indexed payment material describes differing processing depending on payment method, but a marketing or informational estimate should not be treated as a guaranteed dispute-resolution deadline.
Use the deadline actually given for your specific ticket.
Can I complain to the RBI about Parimatch?
The RBI Integrated Ombudsman framework concerns covered RBI-regulated entities and deficiencies in their service. It should not be presented as an ombudsman for an offshore gaming operator. If your complaint concerns your bank’s handling of the transaction and the procedural conditions are met, the RBI mechanism may be relevant.
What if my bank ignores my complaint?
Use the bank’s formal grievance process and preserve the complaint reference and response. RBI states that its Integrated Ombudsman Scheme provides cost-free redress for eligible complaints against covered regulated entities where the issue is not satisfactorily resolved or the regulated entity does not reply within 30 days.
Should I post my Parimatch complaint on ConsumerComplaints.in?
It can be used as a public complaint platform, but it is not a guaranteed dispute-resolution authority. Do not publish private financial or identity information, and be alert to impersonators contacting you after a public post.
What if a “recovery agent” contacts me?
Be extremely cautious.
Do not provide passwords, OTPs, seed phrases or remote device access, and do not assume a person is connected to the operator merely because they know you posted a complaint publicly.
When should I use cybercrime.gov.in or 1930?
Use the cybercrime route when actual cyber fraud is involved—for example phishing, account takeover, fake support or genuinely unauthorised financial activity. The National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal identifies 1930 for financial-fraud reporting.
It is not a substitute for an ordinary merchant/payment disagreement.
Is Parimatch legal in India in 2026?
Do not infer legality from site availability. India’s national online-gaming framework changed materially: MeitY currently lists the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, the 2026 Rules, the April 2026 enforcement notification and the Online Gaming Authority of India. Government material describes prohibited online money games under that framework.
Because individual facts and legal developments can matter, this page does not provide personal legal advice.
Final Take: Evidence First, Escalation Second
A Parimatch payment dispute becomes easier to manage once you stop treating every missing payment as the same problem.
Start by locating the money.
If it never left your bank, establish the final bank status.
If it left your bank but never reached your balance, connect the two systems using transaction references.
If the platform is holding the money, focus on its verification, account and complaint process.
If the platform says it paid but nothing arrived, obtain the outbound reference and take that information to the receiving bank.
If genuine fraud occurred, treat it as fraud and use the appropriate reporting route.
Throughout the process, keep one rule unchanged:
Tell every party the same truthful version of events.
Save original evidence. Ask narrow questions. Get ticket numbers. Record deadlines. Escalate when an answer or deadline fails—not simply because you are frustrated.
And do not confuse persistence with certainty.
Neither a bank complaint, a support ticket, a public complaint post nor an Ombudsman submission guarantees that disputed money will be recovered.
That uncertainty is itself an important part of the risk of using offshore real-money gaming services.
For an existing user already dealing with a payment conflict, the practical order is:
Document → locate → question → trace → escalate → reassess.
Do not add another deposit while trying to solve the first one.
